Dr Hayder Al-Sabak

Dr Hayder Al-Sabak graduated in 1992. He has been practicing dentistry in New Zealand since 1998. He purchased his own family based dental practice in Wellington in 2000, which he has run successfully for 17 years before he sold out to move to Australia in November 2017. During this period Hayder has established excellent rapport with his patients, his staff, other health professionals and built a large base of patients. He has been highly regarded and well respected in the dental profession in New Zealand. Hayder is kind, caring, obliging, a very dedicated dentist and highly experienced in all aspects of general dentistry. His practice was focused on implant dentistry, advanced surgical and restorative work and intravenous conscious sedation. Hayder is delighted, excited to be part of Bay Dental Brighton team and to make a contribution to the local community in Brighton and Melbourne. Hayder is focused on maintaining his successful legacy.
Hayder is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA)

Dr Cynthia Ma

Melbourne born and bred, Dr Cynthia Ma is a proud University of Melbourne graduate. Cynthia provides comprehensive dental treatment to a wide range of patients in a gentle and caring manner, while striving to make each dental visit stress-free and comfortable. Cynthia particularly enjoys working with her patients to discover what each individual wants to achieve with their dental health, and is deeply dedicated to continued education courses to provide her patients with the best treatment options.
Cynthia is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA)

Dr Janet Daniels

Dr Janet Daniels graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Melbourne. She worked in general practice across Victoria before joining the team at Bay Dental Brighton. Janet has a special interest in cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr Daniels’ caring, professional manner is ideal for adults and children with dental anxiety.

Ms Izabella Jorek

Ms Izabella Jorek is a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist. Izabella joined the team at Bay Dental Brighton in 2017, having graduated from Curtin University in Perth in 2002. Izabella has experience in both rural and metropolitan dental practices in both public and private clinics. Izabella provides treatment to patients of all ages but has a particular interest in the dental management of children.

Margaret

Margaret is our multi talented practice manager, receptionist and occasional dental assistant. She has many years experience in administrative roles within Government departments as well as private businesses. Margaret enjoys the challenges of developing and growing our dental practice.

Angela

Angela originally trained and qualified as Dental Assistant in Scotland. Through her experience in the dental industry she has helped continue to improve our patient care at Bay Dental Brighton. Angela loves the Australian lifestyle after growing up close to Edinburgh, and still maintains her lovely accent!

Judy

Judy is our most experienced team member, having clocked up over 40 years in the dental industry. Judy enjoys the challenge of managing the schedule of our Dentists and Therapist, and interacting with our valued patients.

Georgia

Georgia is a fully qualified Dental Assistant. Georgia enjoys the assisting our Dentists and Oral Health Therapist, and helps to ensure our patients are comfortable during appointments. She also works behind the scenes to ensure the smooth running of the clinic.

Lezay

Lezay started her career as a Dental Assistant in New Zealand, she now enjoys supporting our team of practitioners at Bay Dental Brighton. Lezay loves getting to know our patients and caring for their individual needs. 

Barb

Barb is one of the first points of contact at Bay Dental Brighton. She has been in the dental industry for many years and will always greet our patients with a friendly smile.

Alannah

Alannah joined the team at Bay Dental Brighton as a Dental Assistant in 2018. She enjoys helping our patients feel at ease through their procedures.

UPDATE FOR ALL OUR PATIENTS

As you are aware, the coronavirus is having a devastating impact on the health and wellbeing of people across the globe.

As directed by the Australian Dental Association (ADA), dentists can only restrict treatment to urgent or emergency care only.

 

The ADA defines this as:

  • Severe toothache pain (on a pain scale of 1 to 10, a 5 or more that has lasted more than 24 hours)

  • New or recent swelling of your gums or face (within the past three to seven days)

  • Bleeding in your mouth that does not stop following tooth extraction or gum surgery

  • Tooth infection

  • Recent trauma, such as a broken tooth causing pain
